ICO- 2022 : Who can register ?

ONLINE Registration be done from three sources at www.olympiad.ctf.org.in (One source be selected)

lSchool sponsored : Names of students are forwarded by School

lTeacher sponsored : Names of students are forwarded by an Independent Educator/School teacher

lStudent- Direct : Student is registering privately

 

Mode of Olympiad –

 

Round-1 :

lOMR Based/ Off Line  (For students Sponsored by School only)

                                               

lONLINE (For students sponsored by Schools/Educator / Student Direct)

                                  

Round-2 : ONLINE (For students sponsored by Schools/Educator / Student Direct)

 

Definition of Rounds of ICO :

Round -1 i.e Confidence Booster Round : It is designed considering ALL STUDENTS, so as to boost their  confidence in forthcoming exams.

 

Round-2 i.e Challenge  Round : It is designed especially for those students who aspire to achieve higher  score and love to accept the challenge.

 

Dates of Olympiad :

Round-1 : OMR/OFFLINE - 25^th November, 2022 / 9^th December, 2022 (Select one date)

Round-1 : ONLINE – Sunday, 27^th November 2022 (Login time 3- 4.30 pm)

Round-2 : ONLINE – Sunday, 8^th January, 2023 (Login time 3 – 4.30 pm)

• For both classes date will be the SAME.
• Date once selected WILL NOT BE CHANGED in any case. So schools/Educators/ students are advised to be careful while selecting the date.

Last Date for Registration – 20^th October, 2022 (For Both Rounds)

                                                  19^th December, 2022 (For Second Round)

 

Format of  Exam : MCQs with ¼ negative marking

 

Timings of conduct of ICO-2022

l     For Class XI : OMR/OFFLINE- 8.30 am to 10.45 am ( 2 Hours + 15 minutes OMR Filling time)

For Class XII : OMR/ OFFLINE ( Two Combinations) : Same as of Class XI

For Class XII:OMR/OFFLINE (Three Combinations) : (3 Hours + 15 minutes OMR Filling time)

lFor Class XI & XII : ONLINE - Login Time between 3 pm to 4.30 pm + 2 Hours

For Class XII (Three Combinations) : Login Time between 3 pm to 4.30 pm + 3 hours

IF LOGIN AFTER PRESCRIBED TIME LIMIT, IT WOULD REDUCE LEFT              OVER  TIME ACCORDINGLY.

 

Minimum Number of ICO Participants :

For Institutional/Educator’s recommended participation, there should be minimum 20 students in total for Round-1. 10 each from class XI and XII. Or 20 students from a single class. (In case either class is participating).

 

What to Send to CTF Office ? :

Important Guidelines

1. Nominations of Students are to be submitted ONLINE only.
2. Retain the Photocopy of all Registration Forms submitted through ONLINE.
3. Schools/Educators/Students have choice to register for both the rounds of ICO. However one school will select only one date for Offline ICO.
4. Once paid contribution for Olympiad would be adjusted against selected date/s only. IN NO CASE it would be carried forward/adjusted for other date or round.
5. Student will register ONLY from one mode either through school or teacher or Direct. Registration through multiple modes will amount to REJECTION of name of the student.
6. Be careful in mentioning name of student and school’s name. Later No request for CORRECTION of names in Certificate would be entertained.
7. Ensure that Mobile number of students/teacher coordinator and Email ids are correct, as all OTPs and other essential information would be sent through SMS/Emails.
8. During the conduct of ONLINE Olympiad student need to follow the guidelines strictly- like No minimizing of screen, No screen shot, no google search, No copy paste, No typing allowed.
9. CTF has all rights to CANCEL the exam of particular student/s if found suspicious and conduct of Olympiad is not found genuine.
