Initially, Commerce Teachers Association (CTA) was registered in December, 2007 under Societies Registration Act 1860, as a Delhi State-Level Organization with the aim to provide a platform for commerce teachers to accelerate professional excellence among them through mutual exchange of Knowledge, sharing and development of innovative teaching strategies and ways to enrich class-room teaching experiences. In the initial years, it organized various activities across Delhi and NCR only. But, the overwhelming response to CTA’s initiatives, especially, Commerce Olympiad and the Workshops for commerce teachers, led to an urgent need for establishment of such an organization which would  undertake activities and events, not only in Delhi, NCR but  across the country as well as overseas.

To cater to diverse needs of commerce teachers at global level, Commerce Teachers’ Foundation (CTF) was established in 2013. It has grown year-after- year by multiple times and presently, it has more than 750 Lifetime Members from schools across India and overseas and more than 3800 other teachers associated with CTF.
